How we work, our priorities and our values

Harlow College brings together a variety of people in a range of roles, but whatever job you do students will be at the heart of your work.

Working in a college there is no single recipe for success. The whole college community cares passionately about the safety, welfare, development and progress of each individual student.  Therefore everyone plays a part in encouraging and enabling each student to reach their potential, in terms of qualifications gained, grades achieved, and university entrance or employment gained.

Different providers will set out to achieve the above in different ways.  Here at Harlow College we focus on results.  And, to ensure we remain focused and we achieve the results we set out to achieve, hard work, flexibility, and being able to thrive in an environment where the pace is fast and change is norm are essential qualities for our teams.  Indeed these qualities are embedded in our 4 core values.  It is fair to say our core values drive our behaviour, how we work and the general culture of the college and current and new team members are reviewed and recruited against these:
