![]() A Level CoursesAn A Level is divided into two parts - an AS Level which consists of 2 modules begun in the first year, then another 2 modules in the second year to complete the full A Level. Most of our students take 4 subjects to A Level, although some take 3 or 5. If a subject is only taken to AS Level, you will receive a certificate and your final grade counts towards university or job application points. With a Diploma you will study a single subject over one or two years depending on the course. The emphasis is on coursework rather than end of course examinations, and so will suit students who do not perform their best in formal examinations.
