You'll need an eye for detail, good maths skills for working out measurements and the ability to follow technical plans.

Bench Joinery Diploma

Bread Making

Inspired by The Great British Bake Off? Want to learn some of these techniques to bake your own bread at home? Then this is the course for you! You'll learn to make fresh bread from scratch, including sour dough and various flavored breads. You will also learn a variety of fun bread making techniques, including moulding, proving and fillings. All the recipes you use on the course will be provided for your use at home.

Brickwork Apprenticeship

Bricklayers build and repair walls, chimney stacks, tunnel linings and decorative stonework. They might also refurbish brickwork and masonry on restoration projects. If you enjoy doing practical things and you are interested in construction, this could be the perfect job for you. To become a bricklayer, you will need to be able to read plans. Brickwork Diploma (EWPA)

This is a practical bricklaying course in which we embed as much knowledge as possible into the practical tasks you undertake. This minimises the amount of time spent in the classroom. We use a range of delivery methods, with a large proportion of E-Learning done through iPads and other learning technologies.
