About the course

This course introduces you to the architecture, structure, functions, components and models of the Internet and other computer networks. It covers the principles and structure of IP addressing and the fundamentals of Ethernet concepts, media, and operations. Successful completion will enable delegates to build simple LANs, perform basic configurations for routers and switches, and implement IP addressing schemes.

Entry requirements

Learners must be self-employed or employed by an employer with fewer than 250 employees. Employer must be located in Essex.
