All students are eligible to become members of the Harlow College Student Union, which is affiliated to the NUS. Its aim is to support the broader interests of students at college, including their personal well-being and social concerns and to promote charitable and social activities.

All students can apply for the NUS Extra card, which provides lots of benefits, including discounts at many shops.

Any student can stand for election for the Harlow College Student Union Committee. Elections to the Student Union Committee take place every year.

Students are also automatically members of the Anglia Ruskin University Student Union.

Student Representatives

Each teaching group elects a representative and group representatives meet periodically with the HE Co-ordinator; representatives from each degree pathway are invited to the Curriculum Management Committee (meetings each semester). In this way, student issues can be discussed and the service improved where necessary.
