Salary £16,085 per annum

Located in Harlow

Full time (37 hours per week)

Fixed term for 18/21 months

About the team

Examinations and Assessment team provides an efficient, effective and customer-focused services to students and college teams. The department contributes to the registration, assessment and certification of all students and maintains college’s reputation through the rigorous application of the rules and regulation of awarding organisations during examinations and assessments.

About the role

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out a range of administration and customer service activities relating to exams and access arrangements.  You will provide clerical support for staff in the designated area, including printing, copying and posting of papers, certificates, schedules, collection and collation of evidence for access arrangements. The duties will include the use of IT applications and a variety of systems and dealing with enquiries on Microsoft teams, the telephone, via email and face to face. 

What we are looking for

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to engage with people both in person and by phone and deliver the highest standards of customer service to staff, students and other stakeholders. Flexible attitude towards work and with the ability to accept and implement change and positive work ethic are crucial for the role.

You will need to have a minimum of two D’s in GCSE or key/functional skills at level 1(including Maths & English) or have achieved or working towards a related Level 2 qualification.
