About the team
The English team at Harlow College sit within the English and Maths Academy. The team is responsible for the delivery of GCSE English and Functional Skills to young people and adults, both at Harlow College and Stansted Airport College.
About the role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced teacher to deliver GCSE English and Functional Skills. The post-holder will be expected to contribute to the team’s planning of a strong and vibrant curriculum which enables students to improve on their GCSE and English results from school. This is a fantastic opportunity to pass on your skills, and inspire the next generation by working in Further Education.
Ideally qualified to degree level, you will have the skills and experience to teach GCSE and Functional Skills English. Although preferable, a teaching qualification is not essential as the college will support you in obtaining a teaching, or assessing qualification where appropriate.
