Take the First Step to College

New Students A Level Taster Days (Invitation Only)

Our Taster Days are running 28-29 June 2016

On the first day, students should meet in the foyer of the new University Building by 9.25am.

Students arriving later in the day, for example, after an exam, or on Wednesday, should go to Reception and ask for directions to Tracy Greenall, Head of Sixth Form in BG06, to collect their individual timetable.

Learners are welcome to bring a packed lunch or money to buy lunch. There is a cafeteria and café on campus or learners can go over into Harlow town centre to purchase food.

Parent’s Event for New Students (in UCH Lecture Theatre)

On the Day

Please follow the directions on campus to the meeting points where you will be greeted and taken to the appropriate area. Parking is not available on campus, however pay and display parking will be available at the U Park multi-storey car park opposite the College.

This event is an important stage in preparation for College where you will have the opportunity to:

  • Get to know the delivery team and other new students
  • Find out in detail about the course
  • Learn about any costs associated with the course and how to apply for financial support
  • Be issued with details about how to enrol at the end of August.

We look forward to seeing you at this event as we regard this as a crucial part of a student’s induction process. Both students and parents will be given vital information which will help ensure a successful transition to College.
