This Foundation course is designed to prepare you for further study for all healthcare professions. You will progress onto the Level 3 Access to Higher Education courses to develop all the skills needed for university.
In addition, you will work towards gaining the required Literacy and Numeracy at Level 2 (Functional Skills) which is a requirement for entry into all universities.
2 days a week 9.30am – 3.00pm
Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy GCSE or Functional Skills
This course is suitable for anyone who would like to progress onto any of our level 3 courses and then university but who currently lacks GCSE maths and English at grade C or above.
No fees apply to this course.
All successful students were offered places onto the L3 course.
All students gained valuable work experience to enhance their CVs and their applications to university.
Every student progressed with their literacy and numeracy.

You will need basic equipment such as pens, paper and a USB memory stick.
