    About the course

    With the rising cost of living and the resulting reduction of disposable income, it is becoming more and more important to understand basic budgeting skills. In these workshops you will develop and practice skills such as planning your money, income, taxation and benefits, expenditure and budgeting, debt and borrowing and savings and investments. These real-life maths sessions should help you to build confidence and skills that can be applied in everyday situations.

    This series of 4, 90 minute workshops starts on 1st February 2023

    Entry requirements

    Learners must be aged 19 and over and living in Essex. 

    This course is free if you do not have a Maths GCSE at grade C/4 or equivalent.
