Entry requirements

Entry to Year 1:
48 UCAS points from Level 3 Access Diploma or equivalent Level 3 qualification (e.g. A-Levels) Also, GCSEs Grade C/level 4 (or above) for Maths and English, or equivalent (e.g. Pass at Functional Skills Level 2).

Direct Entry to Year 2 (top-up year):
Successful completion of HNC in Healthcare Practice (120 HNC Credits)

BTEC Level Diploma (MM) or Extended Diploma (MPP), Access to HE Diploma in Nursing/Midwifery/Health & Social Care or 2 A Levels to include Health & Care or Health & Social Care, (C,C) equal to 64 UCAS points.  Related work experience.  

Credit Transfer

Transfer of credit from another qualification is considered on an individual basis and will require an interview.

About the course

The course covers a range of subjects including innovation and improvement, person-centred practice, care planning processes, supporting individuals through significant life events, supporting team and partnerships, psychophysiological disorders, and health psychology. Classes are taught though face-to-face lectures and one-to-one meetings. Students will engage in group work, research projects and flip-learning.

How much does it cost?

£4995 per year with an inflationary rise if you proceed to the HND.
