Maybe the responsibilities of family and work got in the way and prevented you from going, and now you think you have missed your chance. If this sounds like you then you should think again because our Pre-Access course has been specifically designed to help people go to university.
No formal qualifications required.
Who is it suitable for?
Please note: there is no upper age limit for this course.
This 12-week programme will provide you with the skills that you need to graduate onto our full Access Diploma, and then next stop, university! Our specialist team has helped changed the lives of 100s of students, providing them with the skills and qualifications that they need to go to university.
You will be covering a range of subjects designed to build up your academic skills and prepare you for life at university, including writing, research and presentation skills, as well as grammar and punctuation, computers skills, and study management skills.
Where will this course take me?
You will develop the core academic skills you need to attend university.
Students who complete from this course will be able to graduate onto one of our many Level 3 Access courses. Once students have completed this 1 year programme they will be able to move onto a university course.
How will I be assessed?
During this course, you will be taught by a range of different tutors, all of whom are specialists in their chosen field. Lessons will be delivered in a classroom setting, with some sessions devoted to workshops.
Will I have to provide anything?
You are expected to come to class with a pen and paper for note taking.
