This course provides you with the opportunity to develop and enhance your management skills. Through studying and applying theoretical frameworks around the field of management you will apply your learning in a practical approach, allowing you to become more competent and confident as a manager.

Leadership and Management Level 5 Certificate

The Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management, designed for middle managers, are designed to develop personal management capabilities, and grow professional management skills including decision-making, managing team dynamics and delegation capability. Learners will complete a number of units and each unit will require a piece of work to be submitted and all deadlines will be provided during the induction.

In addition to monthly classes all learners will be expected to complete independent study outside of the classroom. This varies from week to week but could include set readings, research or gathering information from within the workplace.

Leadership and Team Skills Level 2

This course provides you with the opportunity to develop and enhance your management skills. Through studying and applying theoretical frameworks around the field of management you will apply your learning in a practical approach, allowing you to become more competent and confident as a manager.

Operations/Departmental Manager Level 5 Apprenticeship

This apprenticeship has been designed to provide access to development opportunities for as wide a range of individuals as possible. This includes individuals who are at the start of their career and who wish to take their first steps into professional management, as well as those who may already have developed practical experience but who wish to develop their theoretical understanding of management skills.

On completion, apprentices can register as full members with the Chartered Management Institute and/or the Institute of Leadership & Management, and those with 3 years’ of management experience can apply for Chartered Manager status through the CMI.
