About the course
The Advanced Diploma in Accounting will suit you if you have completed the Foundation Accounting qualification and would like to build your skills or you’re already working in finance and you’d like a more formal recognition of your skills.
In addition to attending face-to-face classes fortnightly, students will be expected to undertake between 5 and 6 hours of additional study out of college.
AAT Level 2 Certificate or related work experience. All applicants will be invited to an interview.

Advanced Learner Loan available
This course will prepare you for junior and entry level accounting roles. It helps to build a solid foundation in finance administration including double entry bookkeeping, basic costing principles and using accounting software. At the end of the course you will have developed finance, accountancy, business and communications skills.

How will I be assessed?
All AAT assessments are practical computer based assessments, available to sit periodically throughout the year. This qualification also includes a synoptic assessment, which draws on and tests your understanding of connections between different topics covered across the qualification.
