About the course
The Prospects programme is designed for SEND learners who are 19+ and are looking for support into employment. Prospects is a one year course with a focus on gaining qualifications that provide a platform to enter the work place, including Customer Service, use of IT and Skills for Retail. The programme has a focus on increasing prospects for employment through CV workshops, interview skills and industry visits.

Evidence of SEND
Ability to complete a Level 1 course with basic skills in English and Maths
Term 1: Level 1 Certificate for Introduction to Customer Service
Term 2: E3/L1 Certificate for IT Users
Term 3: Level 1 Certificate in Skills for Retail
Each unit will encompass Maths and English including money management and communication skills.
The curriculum will also include employability skills sessions which incorporate CV writing, interview skills, application forms, guest speakers and company visits. In addition, the learners will gain practical skills in our shop 'In The Making' at the Harvey Centre in Harlow Town centre.
Guest speakers include industry managers and community partners. There will also be site visits to local and regional companies.
