Funding Your Course

If you're aged 19 or over and you want to study A Levels, an Access to Higher Education Diploma, or a Level 3 to 6 Vocational Qualification, you could be eligible for an Advanced Learner Loan.

    A broad introduction to the disciplines of Business that will prepare you for further study of this important topic.

    You will be required to undertake an interview and assessment to establish the suitability of this programme to your needs.

    How much does it cost?

    Age 16-18 free. 19+ will require an employer's contribution. There is a range of financial support that you may be entitled to, including: Learner Support funds, grants and bursaries and employer support. £90 per year to cover cost of educational visits, guest speakers and workshops, plus your own equipment and textbook.

    You will take part in group activities and a charity enterprise project that will improve your understanding of the business basics, and develop your communication and teamwork skills.

    How will I be assessed?

    Assessed by completing and passing all units. Functional Skills are assessed by examination.

    Will I have to provide anything?

    £90 per year to cover cost of educational visits, guest speakers and workshops, plus your own equipment and textbook. You will need to provide stationery, folder, text book and a USB memory stick. Textbooks to be confirmed at enrolment.
