About the course
The aim of this qualification is to support learners as they develop their knowledge, understanding and skills in engineering, learning the fundamentals of the subject. Whilst studying this course, learners will also complete the T Level Transition Programme which will be tailored to meet your needs in English and Maths, Technical skills, Pastoral support and Personal development.

How much does it cost?
Free to those aged 16-18. If you are aged 19+ you can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan.
There is a range of financial support that you may be entitled to, including: Learner Support funds, grants and bursaries and employer support.
City & Guilds
Throughout the course there will be large amounts of practical work included. This will range from using hand tools to learn fitting and assembly techniques to manual machining to do turning and milling and then all the way up to setting and operating high tech industry standard computer numeric control (CNC) machines.
