Lula – Therapy Dog

Lula the Therapy Dog

Lula is our Therapy dog here at Harlow College. She started working with us in February 2020 and has completed training to follow basic commands ready for in depth training. She is a clever and affectionate young lady and loves supporting our learners on a daily basis. She also puts a smile on our faces and we love keeping our steps up and staying active when Lula is around!

RheannaRheanna – employment coach

Hi, I am Rheanna and I joined Harlow College in August 2021 as an Employment Coach for the Supported Internship. I have a range of experience in different areas of education but found a passion in SEN and helping get learners into employment. Since joining the college, I have been helped build our network and our interns’ transferable skills getting them ready for the real world of work.

Shaunagh Buckley – Teacher

Hi, I’m Shaunagh, I started my post as a Supported Studies teacher in March 2021. Prior to this position I supported learners with additional needs in mainstream education at Harlow College. Having worked in different roles across campus, I eventually started working with learners with additional needs and realised I had found my vocation. I have worked with students who have mild to severe SEN needs throughout my career and love watching students’ progress and achieve their goals.

Sophie Evans, Teacher

Hi, I'm Sophie and I'm one of the teachers within Supported Studies. I first started at Harlow College as an Apprentice, supporting young people with additional needs. From then, until now, I have had some different roles to get to where I am now. I absolutely love working in Supported Studies and getting to watch my learners' progress and succeed throughout their time with us. I find it very inspiring working with young people with Special Needs and love watching their journey and see their confidence grow from when they first join us.
