What Will I Do?

Students have the opportunity to develop original content in a range of formats, including long and short form stories, children’s books, poetry, and scripts written for radio, TV, and theatre. Students also have access to a range of industry speakers.

Whether it is your ambition to work in print, TV, or radio, the journalism industry offers endless opportunities for travel and career progression. After your course, you could continue your studies with us on our Level 4 Creative Enterprise course, go to university or take your first steps into the industry. You could go on to become a newspaper or magazine journalist, TV presenter, broadcast journalist, PR consultant or writer. 

 Our Journalism Centre has produced successful journalists for over 50 years, whose alumni include Piers Morgan, Richard Madeley and Sophy Ridge among many more.
