    About the course

    This level 2 programme will enable you to develop and hone your skills in site carpentry and will enable you to experience all aspects of the craft both on and off the job. Upon successful completion of your course you will hold all qualifications to the expected industrial standard. You will also gain the opportunity to progress onto an advanced apprenticeship in site carpentry.

    Entry requirements

    Successful completion of Level 1 Diploma in Carpentry and Joinery and successful completion of Maths and English.

    How much does it cost?

    Free to 16-18 year olds. Reduced fees may be available for 19+ learners.

    Who is it suitable for?

    Students who have completed a Level 1 course in carpentry and those keen to embark on a career within the construction industry.

    If you're aged 19 or over and you want to study A Levels, an Access to Higher Education Diploma, or a Level 3 to 6 Vocational Qualification, you could be eligible for an Advanced Learner Loan.
