Clearing opens 5th July, allowing you to apply for a higher education course at university or college after the UCAS deadline has gone. What is Clearing?
Clearing is a system that allows you to apply for a higher education course at university or college after the initial UCAS deadline has passed.
Why go through Clearing?
There are multiple reasons that you might apply for a course through Clearing, including:
- You have decided to apply for a course after the UCAS deadline
- You have changed your mind about where you would like to study
- You have changed your mind about what course you would like to study
- Your results weren’t quite what you’d hoped for
What courses can I apply to through Clearing?
Any course that a university or college still has available places on can be applied to through clearing, meaning that you can always find the course that is right for you.
What grades will I need for the course that I want to study?
Many different courses have different UCAS Tariff Point requirements. The required Tariff Points can be found under each universities course pages on the UCAS website.
How do I apply for a course through Clearing?
It is best to speak to your school or college about different universities varying application methods. Our courses can be applied to through the UCAS website.
