T Levels

 

T Levels are a new technical qualification – starting nationally in September 2020 and at Harlow College in September 2021 – which will follow GCSEs and will be equivalent to three A Levels. T Levels combine classroom theory, practical learning and an industry placement of at least 315 hours (approximately 45 days) with an employer to make sure students have real experience of the workplace.

T Level Construction: Design, Surveying and Planning

This course is suitable for anyone wanting a career in construction, specifically in surveying and design, civil engineering, building services design, or hazardous materials surveying.

T Level Digital: Digital Support Services

Learn the essentials of all digital roles by understanding data and digital systems, how software and business interact, security, testing, planning and legal issues.

T Level Early Years Education and Childcare

This Level 3 qualification in Education and Childcare will provide learners with the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to progress into skilled employment or higher level technical training or study in the education and childcare sector.

T Level Electrotechnical Engineering

You will learn to understand and perform fundamental electrotechnical systems engineering processes and procedures. You will alsonhave the opportunity to plan, perform and evaluate your work whilst using a range of materials, methods and techniques.

T Level Health & Science – Supporting Healthcare

This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to progress into skilled employment or higher level technical training relevant to the healthcare sector.

T Level Laboratory Sciences

If you want a career in Laboratory Science, then this this is your opportunity to enrol on this new generation of qualifications that offer an attractive technical alternative to studying three different A levels. This exciting two year course which has been designed with employers to provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to work within the science sector. The T Level has a mixture of technical knowledge and industry work placement to provide you with the skills and experience you need to start your science career.
