About the course
As the automotive industry evolves, the demand for skilled technicians who can safely service and maintain electric and hybrid vehicles continues to grow. This combined Level 2 and Level 3 course is ideal for individuals who want to gain the essential knowledge and hands-on skills needed to work confidently and safely with electric and hybrid vehicle systems.
This qualification is designed for those who may encounter electric or hybrid vehicles as part of their routine maintenance and repair work. Learners will develop an understanding of the hazards associated with high-voltage systems and learn how to carry out repairs safely, even in situations where a vehicle’s electrical system has sustained damage.
The course offers an excellent introduction to this rapidly expanding sector and is suitable for both new entrants to the motor industry and experienced technicians looking to upskill. It complements existing automotive qualifications and provides the foundation to continue working safely within this specialist area.
