We want you to enjoy your job

Harlow College offers competitive rates of pay and excellent employment terms, including enhanced leave entitlement of up to 42 days per year* with the option of buying up to an additional 10 days leave per year, plus we give you an extra day off on your birthday! 

You have access to one of two fantastic contributory pension schemes. We are a family friendly employer with many staff working flexible working patterns. We also offer enhanced Maternity and Paternity leave.

As an employee you can take advantage of our superb facilities, including our hair and beauty therapy suite and our training restaurant, the Skylight Brasserie. Discounts are available at local gyms and leisure facilities, as well as a local nursery, cinema, restaurants and shops. We also run regular trips to West End shows at discounted rates for you and your family. 

We have on-site free parking for staff and the College is within easy access of local amenities including Harlow town centre and public transport links. We have a cycle to work scheme available as well as the discounts detailed below for public transport.

Harlow College staff that travel on any Arriva bus in the Harlow network, will get fares at a reduced rate via an online code.

All Stansted College employees can get up to 80% discount on bus, coach and rail with an Airport Travel card which you are entitled to purchase providing you with enormous savings.

We also run a successful Wellbeing Matters programme with regular activities for staff to take part in including Mindfulness, Football, Yoga and Zumba. We also hold an annual Wellbeing focussed event for all staff to take part in which is now in its fifth successful year!

We have Teaching vacancies for full time/part time/ Ad Hoc/casual basis. We have opportunities for both part time and evening work enabling you to continue working whilst teaching the future generation. This may also enable you to transition into full-time teaching.
