The most outstanding individuals and institutions that the FE sector has to offer have been recognised in the shortlist for the 2018 Tes FE Awards.

It's been revealed that Harlow College has been shortlisted for the Outstanding Use of Technology for Improving Teaching, Learning and Assessment Award.

Tes FE editor Stephen Exley said

“We were absolutely thrilled that the number of entries this year exceed our previous record by a quarter, which reflects the growing stature of the Tes FE Awards.

“Our expert panel of judges was extremely impressed with the calibre of entries, and I look forward to celebrating the excellence that exists across the FE sector. Congratulations to all of the shortlisted entrants.”

Karen Spencer, Principal of Harlow College, said: “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for the TES FE Awards for our Outstanding use of Technology for improvement learning, teaching and assessment. This is a great way to end the year, as Harlow College has also recently secured Apple Distinguished School status and opened a new Digital Innovation Hub. Our students and staff are leading the way in the use of new technologies and innovation – I am extremely proud of them.”

The winners will be revealed at the gala awards evening at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London on Friday 23 February 2018.
