A highlight of the official opening of the new Harlow Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Centre (HAMEC) in March was a visit by pupils and teachers from the local Downs Primary School, who were here to take part in an engineering competition and look around the new Centre.
The new Harlow Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering Centre (HAMEC) was officially opened on Friday 10th March by the Rt Hon Robert Halfon MP, Minister of State for Apprenticeships and Skills.
On 3rd February The Google Digital Garage on Tour rolled into Harlow, where an invited audience of local businesses, College staff and Digital & IT apprentices were given a masterclass in learning crucial skills for the digital age.
Construction of the NEW £11million Harlow Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering Centre (HAMEC) on Harlow College campus is now complete. The keys were officially handed over on the 22nd December and work immediately began on installing the state-of-the-art equipment that will provide unrivalled technical facilities for the College’s engineering students.
