Harlow College were pleased to work with Essex Police as part of Operation Sceptre – a week long initiative involving all 44 forces in England and Wales that supports weapon searches and raises awareness of the dangers of carrying knives and bladed articles.
At the end of January, Harlow College hosted the South East Regional Final of the F1 in Schools Challenge.

Stansted Airport College has been officially opened at a ceremony led by Robert Halfon MP, Chair of Education Select Committee and London Stansted CEO Ken O’Toole.
Ofsted have recognised the continued success of Harlow College by once again rating them as good. A "clear vision and high ambitions for learners" has helped secure a 'good' grade across all judgement areas during the recent full inspection carried out across the College’s main campus as well as the newly opened Stansted Airport College and adult learning hub based in the town centre.

Anne Milton, Minister of State for Apprenticeships and Skills, visited Harlow College on Thursday 7 February, taking a tour of the Harlow Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Centre (HAMEC) before meeting key employers from London Stansted Airport as well as College staff and apprentices.
The Fashion department of Harlow College has partnered with St Clare Hospice’s new, local charity shop, Scarlet Vintage & Retro, in a fashion-upcycling project to restore and reinvent vintage clothing sourced in-store.
