Accounts / Finance Assistant Apprenticeship

This Apprenticeship delivers a solid foundation in finance administration and core accounting skills, including double-entry bookkeeping, basic costing and an understanding of purchase, sales and general ledgers.

Students will also learn about accountancy related business and personal skills and be introduced to the four key themes embedded in the qualification they will undertake alongside their Apprenticeship: ethics, technology, communications and sustainability.

On completion they can progress on to the Level 3 Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship Standard.

Assistant Accountant Level 3 Apprenticeship

This qualification will prepare apprentices for junior and entry-level accounting roles. It delivers a solid foundation in finance administration, covering areas such as double entry bookkeeping and basic costing principles. Learners will then move on to mastering more complex accounting disciplines including financial processes, advanced bookkeeping, final accounts and ethical practices for accountants. The Advanced Diploma in Accounting qualification is at level 3 - equivalent to A-levels - and will equip apprentices with skills that can be directly applied in their roles.

Business Administrator Apprenticeship

Business administrators have a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied in all sectors. This includes small and large businesses alike; from the public, private and charitable sectors. The role may involve working independently or as part of a team and will involve developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administrative services. Business administrators develop key skills and behaviours to support their own progression towards management responsibilities.

Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship

The Information Communications Technician makes their contribution through the application of infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components.

An Information Communications Technician (ICT) provides support to internal and/or external customers, by using tools or systems to problem solve and trouble-shoot routine and non-routine problems. This occupation supports clients/customers with their systems. They achieve this through monitoring and maintaining the systems and/or platforms to maximise productivity and user experience.

Professional Accounting / Taxation Technician

This is an Apprenticeship designed as an entry-level role into the Accountancy and / or Taxation sectors. Roles are applicable to organisations of all sizes and to Apprentices in Accountancy and Taxation Practices including finance functions in Private, Public and Charity Sector organisations. Individuals in the role of a Professional Accounting/Tax Technician will have responsibility for creating, and/or verifying and reviewing, accurate and timely financial information within the organisation in which they are employed or on behalf of another organisation.
