WHAT WILL I DO?

Our courses will provide you with the competence, skills and knowledge to work effectively and efficiently with IT systems, communications and productivity tools and applications in a range of job roles and industry sectors. Topics covered include creating animation, graphics, app development, cyber security, 3D modelling, websites and office applications.

WHAT CAN I DO NEXT?

Progress to an Apprenticeship, university or employment in areas such as web developer, graphics designer, programmer, app designer or technical support.

ICT Level 2

Take your first steps towards a career in the digital industry. You'll learn the skills to produce IT systems and software, websites and mobile apps, and video, graphics and animation.This  programme specialises in wide-ranging subjects across computer systems, hardware and software. IT is an ever-changing industry full of possibilities and this course will build your skills and understanding preparing you for further study.

ICT Level 3

Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship

The Information Communications Technician makes their contribution through the application of infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components.

An Information Communications Technician (ICT) provides support to internal and/or external customers, by using tools or systems to problem solve and trouble-shoot routine and non-routine problems. This occupation supports clients/customers with their systems. They achieve this through monitoring and maintaining the systems and/or platforms to maximise productivity and user experience.

Introductory Diploma in Vocational Studies

A practical, work-related course introducing you to IT and the industry’s employment opportunities. You will gain a solid foundation in IT and also cover personal and social development.

T Level Digital Support Services - Digital Infrastructure

SUBJECT TO SUFFICIENT NUMBERS OF APPLICANTS

The purpose of this qualification is for learners to understand the essentials of Digital Infrastructure Services. You will learn how to install and configure both a physical and virtual networking infrastructure and understand relevant security, testing, planning and legal issues.  Learners will have the opportunity to plan, perform and evaluate their work whilst using a range of materials, methods and techniques.

T Levels are new courses which will follow GCSEs and will be equivalent to 3 A Levels. These 2-year courses have been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses so that the content meets the needs of industry and prepares learners for work.

T Level Digital Support Services – Cyber Security

SUBJECT TO SUFFICIENT NUMBERS OF APPLICANTS

The Digital T level has been designed with leading businesses and employers in the Digital industry and gives you:

  • A thorough understanding of concepts and theories behind cybersecurity
  • The opportunity to solve real life problems in the cybersecurity field.
  • Valuable experience of learning from the experts through working side by side with those in the cybersecurity industry on your industry placement so that you have the chance to learn what this career is like in the real world while you continue your studies.

Funding Your Course

If you're aged 19 or over and you want to study A Levels, an Access to Higher Education Diploma, or a Level 3 to 6 Vocational Qualification, you could be eligible for an Advanced Learner Loan.
